The female astronaut who lost her mind!

Any one hear about this? This NASA astronaut who's married with 3 kids falls in love with some other astronaut. Now she thinks he's romantically involved with some other lady. So she puts on a disguise and drives 900 miles to confront this lady. She wears a diaper so she won't have to stop to piss! Finds the lady at the airport, gets on a shuttle bus that's taking the lady to her car. The lady suspects something and locks herself in the car. The astronaut raps on the window, asks for a ride and starts crying. The lady cracks the window and the astronaut (Lisa Nowak) pepper sprays her! The lady7 peels off to the booth where the attendant calls the cops! The astronaut gets arrested with the disguise, pepper spray, a pellet gun and the diaper! No one could even make up this shit!

you first think who cares, probably a child custody issue. so I never read story.

but after you broke down what happened, DAMNNNN! the news alert should have been titled "Astronaut Spaced The Fuck Out!"

A diaper??

man, that heffa was serious. and I have to ask, was the dick THAT good?? was it golden?? did it spit out winning lotto numbers?? maybe those details will come later to make some sense of this.

well, maybe this chick just cleaned space crafts because she was too flighty for missions.

oh snap! attempted murder charges have been filed, original bail rescended, and she may not be released from jail. and could lose her job. very bizarre story. seems more like a trailer park drama than behavior of a female Naval officer. it's hard enough for women to accomplish what she did, so to throw it all away over a fling is strange.

feel sorry for her kids though. they will be most confused.

but mistake on prosecutor's part to add attempted murder charges. having the items a distance away from the woman doesn't mean she planned to kill woman. and she could have had items in car from a long time ago. who knows what MacGyver shit people carry.

if she had items in her possession when she pepper sprayed woman, maybe they could get a conviction. but w/a good lawyer attempted murder charges could get dropped or won't stand a chance of conviction.

I wouldn't be suprised if this gal has a brain tumor or something like a meth habit out of control. Maybe schizo that's just showing up but I'll bet it's something along those lines. Martin Lawrence naked and ranting on an LA freeway wasn't just a part of his everyday behaviour either. This is a bad country to have an episode like this. Most Americans are so blood thirsty and unbending with folks who lose it. I grew up in Canada and their legal system has a heart when folks run into trouble. They don't just automatically throw away lives to appease a religous, pious, right wing electorate...

there is a live hearing on CNN TV now, you can probably catch it online. but to show you how intriguing this is, it's being aired on every monitor available in the times square area buildings.

this is beyond bizarre. and sure nuff, her attorney is attempting to dismiss the attempted murder charges and arguing she was not advised her lawyer was present while making statements. this will be an interesting legal issue. presumption vs. Nowak's word.

either way, she drove from Texas to Florida non-stop?? she needs a 72-hour mental evaluation, quickly. she may kill herself upon release.

and her kids are probably watching this live now. I know her neighbors are

and now would be a sad time for her husband to leave her. *sigh* she needs help, badly

i only glanced at the Nugent posts but i do get the joke about Nugent....an also if this woman went to the trouble of goin all the way over to this other womans town an astronauts used to use diapers so they dont have to go to the bathroom an pee....which is strange enough when your on the planet...driving to some woman in another town....she got there an cried ....a ploy....an the woman opened her window an she pepper sprayed her which to me showed intent that she wanted to abduct her an further subject her to atrocities.....i think that maybe she should spend about ten years in a mental institution .....figuring out why she tried to do this an if she is not repentant than she should spend more time in there....just my opinion

I agree that this gal needs to be evaluated. She was up to no good. I think from my earlier posts that I gave the impression she should walk or get a slap on the wrist. I don't feel that way. I was just using this as an oppurtunity to lash out at the U.S. legal system which I think is really fucked up. Too many put away for life for selling drugs or offending the religious right wing. Bush assholes. There's a guy hear in Phoenix. His name is Dr' Finkel. Who went to prison over some trumped up charges of sexual harrassment. Just so happens he did abortions for a living...
