yanno, I used to notice fireflies constantly in Texas and So. Carolina. but don't think I ever noticed them in New York
but I did see them in New Jersey just across from New York.
but here's what I don't get: Japan is so far ahead of us on cellphones and has been for more than 10 years. more people own cells then home lines there. and the stuff we have is outdated in Japan by @ least 3 years. how come this problem didn't occur sooner? are there no bees in Japan? so something else is up with their disappearance.

huh? what? who? damn, I'm always the last to know.
bcddjjsc690, I'm pro saving animals that don't sting or kill people. I'm all for wiping out the sharks, once sharks are extinct I can wake in the ocean past my ankles.
bcddjjsc690,
"It appears as if the bees have got the equivalent of AIDS."...one of those bees stung the wrong motherfucker. ;p
that is a good article...I didn't know bees were so important for the production of almonds..I'll freaking die if chocolate almond ice cream goes extinct.
