Aw shucks! This is one hell of a road trip. Once I didTough Crowd all my empty dated filled in, PLUS I'm doing promo for the book that's coming out.
I still pop in here when I can to see what you guys are up to. Needless to say I'm glad you guys haven't lost your edge.
I got one more hell week where I do corporate gigs in Philly while I'm working in AC next week. Plus Next Saturday I've been asked to speak in front of a group of new comics, so I'm gonna drive 3 hours from AC to NYC to talk, then I turn right back around to do 3 shows that night!
I can't help but think how great it is that we get paid to make other people happy. Whenever I hear the laughter, I am still blown away.
Comics who do corporate gigs don't sell their soul
I think comedians at corporate conventions, seminars etc. are an excellent form of entertainment better than some lame ass DJ or dinner that's for sure.
Plus Corporate gigs pay extremely well-extremely. I know a comic who can pay all his bills if he only gets ONE corporate gig per month
