Yeah I'm referring to how earlier in this thread somebody dissed George Lopez.I've watched the TV show and a couple of stand up bits on TV shows but that was actually my first time seeing him do a full on stand up.I hate that I got sidetracked last night..........

He had alot of good stuff to say about his culture .When he got the insurance check for the roof and they sent Mexican workers he said "I could've done that"

But hell once I saw him give all those props to Richard in the first five minutes of his set I was satified!!

5-31 - Okay I turned off my computer this time and I got to watch the whole thing and now I can honestly say it was tight!!!!!!

Last night in Denver, George went crazy. After being on stage doing his thing for about an hour, he started talking about the Lakers, and the Fans booed profusely. As he continued to talk they kept on booing so he stopped and went off saying "It's ok when I make fun of latinos cheating on their wives but you boo the Lakers?" He then said fuck it and told the the crowd of 8,000 he would never come back to Denver and just walked off stage. I'm not sure why he flipped out, and I don't know if the people were booing because the Kobe shit or because they just don't like the Lakers, but it was just the strangest thing to see.

Yeah, we had him in studio at the Radio station I work for and he hooked up the passes. He wanted us to release a statement to the public on his behalf but our boss refused to air it.

We never got the statement because our boss shut just said no so he just quietly left town, it was weird because he was cool as hell in the morning but his "handlers" were kind of rude so I can imagine that wore on him throughout the day and he was just in a bad mood or something.

Hell the best of them have flipped on the crowd,remember Rich at the Hollywood Bowl in '77? I didn't until I read about in the liner noters of the "Anditsdeeptoo" box set.so I don't think this incident will really effect George Lopez much, and with the right PR it might even help his career!!!
