15 yr. old girl, faces incest and murder charges...

A 19-year old man will be tried in September on a charge of prohibited sexual conduct with his younger sister, who gave birth to a baby found dead in a high school band bag. The girl, 15, has been charged in juvenile court with capital murder. An adult certification hearing for her is set for June 10. The maximum sentence that can be considered in juvenile court is 40 years, prosecuter Randy King said. In the adult system, she is facing life in prison. The brother is free on bond and set for trial on Sept. 1. If convicted of the third-degree felony, he could face from 2 to 10 years in prison and up to a $10,000 find. the brother said in a sworn afidavit that he had intercourse with his sister on several occasions at their home in Port Neches. The newborn boy was discovered hidden in the girls bedroom, in a high school band bag, after the girl was taken to the hospital for excessive bleeding. This girl needs help and support, not prison. Am I alone in my conviction of this?
