billyb0y,
It's really a must see like Casablanca.Just to see what the hoopla is all about.Plus "Kane" is even better if you don't know any of the major plot points!!!Though of course you should know it's based on I think the life of William Randolph Hearst.I was surprised how much I liked it.

Jennifer,
Well, THANK YOU, Ma'am! I'm blushing from ear to ear right now. :)
Visited my Moms tonight and told her about your review. She is a MAJOR fan of Mr. P. and actually, I believe she was the one who turned me onto him at the tender age of 9 when she took us to see "Stir Crazy" and could you imagine the look on my face and my mother trying to cover my eyes when the strippers came out on stage and the scenes with George Stanford Brown chasing behind Mr. P? Hilarious! Changed my whole view of the world in about ninety minutes!
Anyway, she was thrilled that you enjoyed it and was very happy to hear that Mr. P is getting along well and she says you're gonna be the next Sharon Osborne in how you're rebuilding and securing his legacy. I said, "Ma, Sharon is very cool, but Jen is defintely in a class by herself! She's handling the business fo' real!" ):)
Again, much thanks and much luv always. ):) :-x

dumbass,
yeah, that whole sequence in "Scarface" is just the best!
Listen to Marty Bregman in the documentary: He basically said fuck the critics! They don't know shit!
I tried to watch "The Big Lebowski" the other day and just couldn't get into it. I don't why. I dig Coen Brothers movies alot too but that one just doesn't grab me. Raising Arizona is the shit and also Miller's Crossing. And I LOVE Fargo! One of their best if not THE best. Just great storytelling there. ):)

dougdigitalpro and dumbass,
FYI On Pacino and accents: just rented a movie the other with Pacino called "People I Know".IHe had a southern accent in this one and the movie was a great character study set against a thiller storyline.I don't remember it in the theaters, but it was a coollittle human story for him sort of along the lines of Glengarry Glen Ross.

bingolong,
Yeah, I saw that in the store not too long ago. I might check it out. Al has been dropping some bombs lately but that premise looked intriguing.

billyb0y,
Man, do you know how long I've been trying to see "Deliverance"? I swear some movies just pass me up sometimes for various reasons and that's one of them. I'm gonna try to see that soon.
It may be that banjo scene that's kept me away.

astonamous,
Yeah, that's the one I'm talking about. Spoken like a man who's never seen the movie.
If it's anything like Pulp Fiction, I may not check it out.
I know he's says something about squealing like a pig. 8-o
