Reg_Man_98,
Thanks for clearing that up, man, because when bingo described it, I immediately thought of that movie. I knew that's what it had to be from. I have never seen "Dynamite Chicken" just for the reasons you described. I remember when they re-released in theatres around '87 or so and I think somebody told me not to see it cuz Rich is in there for a few minutes which was false advertising like a mug because I remember the ad saying..."STARRING Richard Pryor". Reminds of almost renting this obscure flick called "Loving" to see Rich, but something about just didn't seem right looking at the box.lol Man, they used to use the shit out of Rich's good name to sell a movie! But I'm intrigued now to check out "Chicken" just on the strength of being a film scholar(yes, I is ;p ) and to see Mr. P. I'd like to se this doc, but you know, watching another doc, even a clip on Richard Pryor is like watching one on Ali. There's so many and a lot of them either tell the same story or don't get the story right to begin with.

dougdigitalpro,
ooooooh you're bringing back some bad memories now!!
Ages ago I bought that film "Some call it Loving" from a video rental store guy who assured me that it was a Richard Pryor film. On the cover it's got his face, so I thought "shit, why not?" To this day, don't even try to ask me what it's about......'cos I can't tell you! Even if it had an all-star cast, the plot is so weak it'll get drunk off water! And I know that there are some shit films that you can still watch and crack jokes from......trust me...."Some Call it Loving" makes "Dynamite Chicken" look like "Live on the Sunset Strip"!!
:lol::lol:
Peace gee
