I worked with a radio host who had been called "racist" on occasion. Whether this is true or not is a matter of opinion. Well, a caller who identified herself as a young black republican woman talked about how much she likes his show, blah blah blah. She said "As a woman of color..." and without saying anything in response to her directly he says "Thank you for your call." and I brought her down because that was the cue that he was done with her.
He then asks the rhetorical question "You know, why is it alright to say 'People of color' and not 'Colored people?'" At which point I intentionally brought her back up and she says "Well, it's due to the" and he cuts her off "I SAID THANKS FOR YOUR CALL!!!"
Laughed my ass off, since who looked good there, and who looked like a fool...
