Happy Black History Month!

Easy Reader may feel it's time to eliminate Black History Month, and I am all for actually telling ALL of history instead of selective history...

But eliminating Black History Month would cost us a great deal... When else will we see [/i]Dolemite![/i] aired on TBS? Nicolodian can feel free to air the [/i]What's Happening?[/i] marathon.

I mean, what can be better than hearing drums, seeing the afrocentric background come up, then hearing the deep-voiced announcer say: "Celebrating Black History Month.. We now return to our feature presentation... [/i]Beat Street![/i]"

The Rise & Fall of Jim Crow is airing on PBS this month. definitely worth watching. unbelievably sad, but a must see.

WB & UPN are merging and gonna be called CW. We gotta come up with new material here. We know that they ain't going to come up with any new material there...

In fact, I think they're going to remove all black folk from the new channel and the CW will be the Country & Western network. Black folks will only be represented behind the scenes, as the CW network will be known by it's employees as tthe Colored Workers network...

however, I rarely watch TV but the majority of the shows I do watch are on UPN (Eve, Girlfriends, Half & Half - love me some Spencer (he can get it!), America's Next Top Model, Everybody Hates Chris and Love Inc. Cuts is pretty good too.

and wait, why we gotta be Colored again. we've upgraded from that a long time ago.
