There will be a cold day in hell before I play the fucking comedy union again.

Ok tell me if I'm out of line here!

I wasent having the greatset set the people werent into it and thats ok the thing that pisses me off is the fact that the DJ cut me off in Mid Set! I was shocked they made an ass of me infront of the crowd. Its like in the old days when you would get yanked off stage with a big hook. To add insult to injury I asked one of the guys who runs the show why the red light never came on and all he said to me was "Its No Big Deal We Just Wont Invite You Back" Can you belive that? I have always been nice to the guy.


Keep in mind that I brought in more people than the other comics!! AND IT WAS A BRINGER SHOW!

I should have known the crowd would not get it. I put alot of thought into my last set and LA crowds don't like too think there just not good at it.

So at this point I'm just in shock. I'm still seeing red I can't fucking belive it.

I'm pissed off but I have never been this driven before I will become a better comic after this. THEY CAN ALL BLOW ME CUZ I KNOW I'M FUNNY!

Sounds like you got a gross dose of somethting i like to call TBSL...
typical bullshit life. Comedians get a pretty big taste of TBSL--often looked at as people who must be entertaining at all times or else we're not doing our jobs...the bottom line is that most places don't give too much of a shit about the people onstage and more of a shit that there are people there and they want to drink...but just fucking keep working the material until any beyotch anywhere is forced to get it. I'm still trying to learn how to do that! It's tough.
As long as you were liked your material you're OK. I guess oyu'll have to work as a scab for awhile if the comedy union won't have you back

Shawn, don't fret. Real comics don't play the comedy Union. The owner Eniss mitchell is a Bitch. he likes to play power games with comics. I put him in his place lots of times. I don't frequent his club because of his Bullshit. When he comes to other clubs and asks me or other comics to call and get booked, I tell him loudly "GET FUCKED" don't trip, and keep plugin' away, I've heard you and your funny.

Yeah the first time I played that place I kinda saw how the talent was treated. they really don't have a clue and thats why I don't see that club sticking around too long.
