Richard and Jennifer,

I feel oddly similiar to the other post from the other white guy from Illinois. I too was introduced at a very young age to Richard's genious. My step father (who is a complete piece of shit and beat me quite often) watched and played every Pryor thing he could get his hands on. My parents never hid his comedy from me. Was It Something I Said was played at almost every card game, carburator re-build and "divide up and bag that weed" party in my house (my dad was a dealer).

Long story short, if a god of comedy exists, it is you Richard. Every funny thing I ever said is a product of your talents. Every joke I tell is an attempt to recreate your timing and presentation. You are a national treasure, an icon and you ain't dead yet mutherfucker!
