Comic vs Crackin' Joker

Post by DUCKSAUCE »

To all especially the ones who are comics, what is the difference between a comic and someone who can crack hard on people.
For example, when you were in school, junior high/HS;etc,and there was always that brotha' that tears people up, are they the same as a comic or that's just crakin' jokes, you know crackin'.

DUCKSAUCE,

Cracking on people, joaning, the dozens etc is a part of comedy. It is a tool that a comedian can use.

As a comedian if someone yells out something at you or heckles during your set you might have to crack on a person to get them to shut the fuck up.

Also a lot of times a comedian will open up cracking on the audience, the town, the club and then go into his jokes. DL Hughley was very good at this especially when he used to host Comic View on BET.
Dracula, what kind of name is that for a niggah!
