Dynamite Chicken

Richard loved going to the movies...
So do we. Who doesn't like music?

Dynamite Chicken

I used to have a copy of this film, and I've watched it a couple of times. For those not familiar (see above link), the film is series of sketches, pieces and interviews, all strung together by Mr. Pryor. I like Richard's stuff in the film, the rest of it can be hit and miss. I do think it's an interesting format for a film that hasn't been done since. Have you guys seen this film? Would the Pryors care to share any stories or insights about this film?

I went to Zimbabwe. I know how white people feel in America now; relaxed! Cause when I heard the police car I knew they weren't coming after me!

sammaudlin,

I have a VHS copy of Dynamite Chicken, watched it a few times 5 or 6yrs ago when i bought it and back then i really didnt get a lot of it, with the exception of Richards links.

Think i'd appreciate the content a lot more now if i revisit it. Definatley a must have for any collection for "Women dont fart....they 'poot'" Shit, i was in tears at that segment.
....have a coke and a smile, and shut the fuck up!
