In Living Color
In Living Color, the greatest sketch show of All-Time.
In Living Color had some of the great comedians of our time. The Wayans family (Keenan Ivory, Damon, Kim, Shawn and Marlon) Chris Rock, Jim Carrey, Jamie Foxx, Tommy Davidson, David Alan Grier and others.
It also had some great characters. Who could forget Homey the Clown played by Damon and Men on ... played with David Alan Grier. He also played Anton, Handi Man, Head Detective. Jim had his share of characters with Vera De Milo and Fire Marshall Bill and Jamie had Wanda.
Who are some of yalls favorite characters from the show.

astonamous,
I think he is hinting about the classic four episode run of a show I bought on DVD in this past March...
I really liked when In Living Color did Richard Pryor scared.

I went to Zimbabwe. I know how white people feel in America now; relaxed! Cause when I heard the police car I knew they weren't coming after me!

JTF,
The Richar Pryor show is legendary, of course, but it only lasted 4 episodes. Thats why I don't include it in my list of the greatest sketch shows of All-Time, even though it is better then shows like MadTV and the Mr. Show.
Yeah, that [/i]Richard Pryor - Scared For No Reason[/i] skit was hilarious. I also liked the ones were Damon does Redd Foxx, Classic.

LKizzle,
I love the ILC DVD's. My only problem is that the musical performances were taken out (to save money I assume). They had some classic hip-hop perofrmances on that show. What a shame!

Re: In Living Color
Jennifer,
I know it was censored and Richard quit. But it still only lasted 4 episode. I am not taking anything away from the show at all, that's where In Living Color got it's inspiration from. It is just like the show Tim Reid had on CBS in 87 called Frank's Place. It got great reviews and people say it was a great show, but it only lasted 1 season, so you never here it being talked about with other great sitcoms, even black sitcoms.

Jennifer,
The boy need to get rid of the Wayans moniker and just add [/i]Pryor[/i]after his name:lol:
I finally watched "WattsStax" for the first time last night and saw Damon's [/i]inspiration[/i] for the prisoner with the big vocabulary when Richard was doing his thing on the black revolutionaries. You are right it's there and it's pretty obvious.
