First Memory ...

Post by LKizzle »

What was you first memory of Richard Pryor. May it be stand up, films or live albums. Mine was when he was the host of Motown 25. I didn't see it when it originally aired in 83, but I saw it the first time when I was about 4. I would always watch that when I was little because my dad bought the VHS of it.

Thanks Richard.

My first memory of Richard is when he appeared on "The Partridge Family" TV show back in '71 when I was 9. 'Cept I didn't realize that it was Richard 'til several years later when I accidentally caught the episode again as a rerun. He made his first impression on me, however, when a friend of mine turned me on to the album "That Nigger's Crazy" very soon after its release in '74, when I was in the 7th grade. Been a fan ever since.

I went to Zimbabwe. I know how white people feel in America now; relaxed! Cause when I heard the police car I knew they weren't coming after me!

EQUALIZER,

My first memory? My sister told me one of his jokes and I eventually got my hands on one of his albums. I think it was the one with "little feets"
