Richards gift to the world

I love Richard because he has given the world the ability to see the world with out seeing a color. He has shown us how to be ourselves and to be willing to laugh at our fuck ups and still hold our heads high. Only one other pereson has done that, and his father took him away a long time ago, Richard I love You Brother . Sincerely, Donald Patty

I love the guy because he has turned my house into a house of laughter. Everyone in my family is a fan (except my mum and dad who just don't get it). We recently paid a vist to New York and all my 12 year old brother done the whole time was Richard Pryor impersonations, especially on the subway, at night, using the "N" word, very scary I advise nobody to try it! Who else but Richard Pryor could have inspired my brother to get up at the dinner table and say "I don't care what it is but I'm going to fuck it" while at the same time thrusting his hips and humping air. My mother was so shocked it was hilarious! My sister hates Eddie Murphy because she is a true Richard Pryor Loyalist and thinks Eddie Murphy is a poor copy. I never knew good comedy until I watched Richard Pryor and for that I thank him!

Yeah, The way I see it is, If they are talking about me or spreading shit ....They are leaving someone else alone .LOL Thanks to Richard and his honesty in his presentation, I came to understand that when we do screw up, and we all do...because we are human...If you will look at the situation and think about it you will see something humourous in it....either you will see that you must have had your head up your ass or a momentary lapse of intelligence. Most of us fall into the 1st category...lol!! But in practically every situation there is a point that had we made a different choice the out come would have been better, but as it is we screw up and it is perfectly healthy to sit back and giggle at your mistakes. And see them for what they are...Mistakes...not the end of the world and stressing out over them does not make them better and tears away at your health. Laughter, however is great for your health and thanks to Richard I have laughed enough for 20 people to be healthy for life. There is no way to ever pay Richard back for the gifts he has given us,all of us have been affected in some special way by his mere exsistence and him allowing us to hear his stories and by opening our eyes to humor in everyday life. I hate to think what my life would have been without having known Richards work and to have experienced the uncontrolled laughter at his stories and jokes. We are very fortunate to have been able to let him know how much we love and appreciate him . Well, don't know where all that come from lol sorry it was a book, I just have so much to thank him for and I get carried away ...Bye for now...
