You are right! I do need to learn to do that. I don't know why but I have always taken everything from everyone. And rarely ever say anything back. It depends on the situation and person of course. For example, why do I give a crap about what my EX thinks? It shouldn't care what anyone thinks but I do. Do you have some good advice? Now my current hubby tells me I am a tough ass and my Mother says it too. But why is it that I am intimated by my Ex? He isn't smarter than my current husband at all. My Ex use to make fun of me and never told me I was smart. I know sounds like a low self-esteem. Yes I have one but working on it. I am attending college and it is helping me a lot. I have doctors and professors and teacher that tell me I am very smart. I don't understand why I let certain people get to me. I know I shouldn't. What is your opinion?

Do you have inside you some feeling to him?, we use to give a lot importance to things that come from people we care for, I care for everything my family, friends and people I love say, no for people that I don't care

you sounds like a strong person so continue in that way!!!I'm glad you have a new life after your first marriage, I also do. I'm also friend of my ex and she is married again. I hope your ex also found someone to share his life with and. I like to think that everybody can be happy. I'm from another country, I moved here four years ago from Italy, and believe me you have to be a very strong person to be here by yourself. Now my wife and I are expecting our first child, we are very excited. Take care.

Sorry about the delay in replying. Thanks for your kind words! Yes I am very happy and my Ex. I think that when a relationship doesn't get closer and I mean any relationship that people will keep bringing it up to try and make sense of what happened. I have come to the terms that people change as they experience and grow. Sometimes we all can grow together or apart. And I am convinced that is what happened. I think after my Communications class tonight I was able to put everything in a better perspective. I know understand. It isn't that anyone was wrong or bad but that people change and have different plans for themselves. And I thank GOD that I finally have my soulmate! We are so good for each other. It is like a mushy love story, him and I. I have to say I have the best HUBBY in the world!

Hi, thanks for your reply. You sounds like a very spiritual person, I mean that kind of person that talk from the bottom of her heart. I think you would love Italy if you go there some day, Italy (of course I cann't say anything bad about there because is my country and I love it!) is my favorite country, and also Spain and Greece. I was there several times too and they are amazing countries, really pretty with lovely people and very romantic wonderfull places!!! you should go there too if you can. I think you always get more culture from the experience. It doesn't matter how much you study....if you don't go to check everything by yourself, you don't really understand and believe how amazing everything can be!

True True! My Ex's new wife is from Spain. She is wonderful! She is good to my daughters. I feel very fortunate that my daughter has a great Step-Mom! She is teaching her Spanish as well.
Spiritual? Yes. And one of these days I will travel with my hubby to all of these beautiful countries.
