Who knows - that's why research needs to be done. Injection of stem cells into someone's heart, that might otherwise need a transplant, is improving the heart function 50 to 75%. There are studies being done on diabetics too. If research is allowed to go forward, then we may someday see some type of repair cells for the damage done from MS. Let's hope so, anyway.
