I was going to be the opening act for my buddys band for just a few gigs just to knock off some dust and I just got a call from my buddy check this shit out.
The gig is on the 30th I was booked the guy who was promoting the show at first backed out the new promoter is somebody I have had an ongoing piss fight with he just does not like me he has had me trown off shows before this is like the 4th time.
It all go's back to (2001) when I first started doing comedy he was the MC at an open mic where I got my start. I always got along with the guy but my last gig there I made a Hillary Duff joke (it was funny tho) The joke offended the crowd with that a lady yells (She's only 14 what the hells wrong with you?" I replyed "Nothing shut yer dumb fucken mouth and listen thats all you have to do"
Next thing you know my mic is dead and he ask's me to leave. It turns out that lady was his girlfriend.
Ever since that the guy has gone well out of his way to get me kicked off bills. What the fuck? He aint even with that bitch no more.
Its people like that that push me to keep on doing my art.
