Anyone see the Daily show on Monday 5th? Twas the 1st show after Katrina and Jon Stewart layed into the response hardcore. It was beautiful (you know that feeling when you hear someone on TV saying exactly what you're thinking to the letter) and he handled it properly and raised proper concerns (not the bullshit that jokers like Kanye were saying, all this "its cos they're black" bullshit. It's not cos they're black, its cos theyre poor. Race isnt an issue, republicans don't discrimante when they crap on the underpriviliged).
Anyway, the reason why I put this in the jokes section:
"In a way, huricane Katrina is George W. Bush's Monica Lewinsky. The only difference is that 10,000 people weren't stranded in Ms Lewinsky's vagina ...... although I hear that at the time it was known as the Superdome. (laughing and 'ooooohing') .... what, you would've prefered the 'Big Easy'?"

Re: Daily Show comment on Katrina response
mb667584,
What you say is true Bush definitely hates the poor BUT trust me Kanye was still right from a psychological standpoint....with the history America has with blacks it only makes it worst because some of the "poor white trash" were still stupid enough not to realize that when they voted for Bush it would not be to there benefit.....those blacks that did get out and vote sure didn't vote for Bush and those that didn't vote just figured it was hopeless anyway......either way they were going to lose....but we all saw that in New Orleans..

I went to Zimbabwe. I know how white people feel in America now; relaxed! Cause when I heard the police car I knew they weren't coming after me!
