Oh I was just trying to start a John Candy thread maybe I''ll just make one in movie fourm but if were gona talk about people we miss to be honest Bill Hicks would be at the top of the list.

I miss Frederick Douglas. Why did he have to die? I mean, sure, he'd be 187 years old, but we could really use a man like him today...

I'm from Waterloo Ontario. In the late 80's I worked in a restaurant there for the summer. There was this little buck-toothed busboy who worked lots of hours in the place. Really nice young kid but a little awkward and goofy. He saw John Candy at the Toronto airport and got the nerve up to approach him and mekely asked him for his autograph. Candy goes"Fuck off kid" Sees the horror on his face and imediately goes"I'm just kidding". Signs what he had for him and walks with him with his arm around him till they got out of there....
