Have your "Holiday" decorations up?

Visitor,

for several reasons I am just not into the Xmas spirit. between the war in Iraq, families being displaced w/minimal help from government, homeless and deserted animals from Katrina, and now almost a million homeless folks worldwide from natural disasters, only happiness I can think of is making things better for everyone.

just going to count my blessings, pray and do what I can to help those in need.

so if Santy is not dropping down the chimney w/a resolution for the above problems, he can kiss my black ass. there I said it! great, now I won't get the Barbie Corvette I've always wanted. oh well...gotta take a stand, yanno.

I don't really bother with X-mas decorations, the sight of some of my "bling bling" fashion mishaps from yester-years is enough to light up my house!!

I know people who keep them up into March but not that deep in......I don't bother with a Christmas tree or a http://today.reuters.com/news/newsartic ... xml&rpc=22 - "holiday" tree'for that matter....

I would have logged in but in a few days I will be back to zero posts anyway so does it matter?

There is nothing funnier than watching your cat walk around the house with tinsel hanging out of it's ass!!!!:lol:

I don't know what it is with that stuff ,but they can't seem to resist it, and ever since I got the dog , I don't think putting up a tree is a good idea ...if you know what I mean ....

A friend of mine told me about when her cat ate tinsel...

She said that she held the cat down while her huspand pulled the tinsel out the cat's ass. She said the cat made a noise like she never heard before. I asked her if the other end of the tinsel might have been caught in the cat's tooth... Kitty floss!

The Holiday's do nothing but remind how alone I am its the only time of year where its just as cold outside as I feel inside.

But my girls comming out in less than 2 weeks so maybe this year wont be so depreesing.

But till then I'll be wearing that same ole forced smile.
