Politics, religion, racism, sex, the weather... there's always lots to think about so there's always lots to talk about. Progressive ideas are encouraged but all opinions are welcome.
and major snaps to Eddie Griffith for rocking the Richard Pryor shirt.
and major snaps on Maher's opening skit on Gangsta Dick
but other guests were Helen Thomas and some other dude all up in Iraq's ass and Iraq's well being. perhaps he needs to live there permanently. FOCUS ON THIS COUNTRY and ITS WELL BEING is my philosophy.
tamra,
Bill was on Leno the night before this aired Friday and I still forgot...Went to bed early last night but glad I saw this post, it's on now only missed 10 minutes....
Thanks
I went to Zimbabwe. I know how white people feel in America now; relaxed! Cause when I heard the police car I knew they weren't coming after me!
I've always been a Letterman person. but would have watched just the Bill Maher part.
but the show was good. he's getting a variety of guests. but the REDs guests are typically disturbing. the way certain behavior is rationalized reminds me distinctly of slave masters talking about slavery. even when Bill throws a good question back at them, like what if it was Hillary Clinton tapping your phones would you still agree w/it, the bullshit pile grows higher and higher, as if we're all too stupid to understand. you listen to the shit long enough, and after a few glasses of whiskey it starts to make sense, I guess. but I don't drink whiskey, so the shit will never make sense to me
money makes strange bedfellows and condones any immoral and inhuman behavior, always....

huh? what? who? damn, I'm always the last to know.
Harry Anderson and D.L. Hughley did the dayum thang this week.
Anderson had me cracking up with: if you think the Florida elections were bad, the New Orleans' election will be like rock, paper, scissors. because voters are scattered everywhere. and Anderson said the federal response was "fucking tragic". sadly true!
good show. Michael Brown of FEMA was a surprise live speaker. catch the show running all week, or the transcripts for those w/out HBO when they come out later this week.

well somehow he's redeemed himself and all the blame is now on Chertoff seems to me his being in charge of FEMA was a waste of salary if he had no authority to do anything.
because we all know damn well, if you are chief fry cook at Mickey D's and they are out of fries for a day, it ain't the other worker bees or the boss who catches hell, but the chief fry cook for not getting it done!
