SHEEEEET!!! For a million dollars an episode I'd be starring on "Friends" until they were all living in a Nursing Home!!!
I went to Zimbabwe. I know how white people feel in America now; relaxed! Cause when I heard the police car I knew they weren't coming after me!
astonamous,
I used to be the same way up until a couple of weeks ago!!I watched a couple of episodes on DVD in my free time during my vacation to see what the big hoopla was all about!!(I didn't want to be left out)It wasn't that bad actually because alot of the jokes and references could be from something that happened seasons before it.Kind of made me appreciate it a litlle. Now I'm mainly watching this last episode to see how they tie up some of the loose ends.(Also because they are making it like it really is a super event that everybody in the world will be watching......I'm so weak!!)b.b

I tried watching Friends back when it first came on the air, I didn't find it funny and/or entertaining. All they did was rip off Seinfeld's idea for a show about nothing and added 2 people-no creativity at all
I'm amazed the show even found an audience let alone stayed on for 10 years
I saw one episode. After the Super Bowl in 95 it came on. I was at a party and was one of many men there drunk and pissed that dull-ass beat pittsburgh. When it came on none of the women would let us change the channel and we all sat there watching the tv saying "this is supposed to be a comedy?" I scraped funnier things off my shoe. Even the ads that run where they take the BEST JOKES from the show to get you interested are not interesting to me. But then again I can't stand much of what is on tv anyway. I'm down to Law & Order, L&O SVU, Bernie Mac, and the Simpsons. Even showtime at the Apollo sucks now that that fat bitch is on it.
JTF,
And what is wrong with Sex in the City? I admit I watched the Friends Finale and I teared up a little. But then again I am a sensitive guy....Everyone likes a good love story and that is what this was.
P.S.
I own the first two seasons of Dawson's Creek....go ahead and TRY to rib me about that!
Glad I'm not the only one who found Friends as entertaining as watching paint dry.
I like all of the Law & Order shows too. I also like CSI the original that is. I can't stand Dave Caruso so I never watch CSI Miami. I just hope they don't ruin the original by making two of the co-workers fall in love That's what makes that show so fuckin cool, it focus' solely on crime scene investigation. It doesn't waste valuable show time with corny ass "love" plots@.@
I also love Everyboby Loves Raymond the entire cast on that show kicks fuckin ass! With the exception of Chappelle and Quinn's show "Tough Crowd", that's about all I watch besides The Sopranos of course If I don't, the Italian police will come and lock me up
JTF,
Dawson's Creek was a show ahead of it's time ( sometimes ). I connected to it cause the main character is a film geek that wants to be a film maker....just like myself. But it also had comedy, drama, and eveything a show should have.
And no, I ain't trying to score wit the chickie-poos....my girlfriend would disown me. ( she almost did with Dawson's Creek. I don't want to push it..... )
Good comedy shows for men: The Job (Denis Leary)Bakersfield P.D. Sanford & Son Richard Pryor Show (OK, that's a given here) Pretty much anything with guns, cops, sexist humor or male bonding.
