Mom leaves Baby in car....grrrrr

I have 4 kids and I can honestly say how do you forget you left a baby in a van, How is the the baby sitter didnt ask where the baby was... Im a saty at home mom and if i got to the grocery store alone 5 mins into it im thinking to myself where is Noah or wheres Mary.... how the hell do you forget a 9 month old baby and how the hell is it no one passed this little fellow and said hey umm theres a baby in here !!!
some people let life take control of them and seem to easily for get the important things i guess

Meridian, Idaho -- A nine-month-old baby was hospitalized after being left in a hot car for more than two hours.

The child's mother called dispatch after leaving the baby in the family's van, while she went into the LDS church on Franklin and Locust Grove to do volunteer work.

The baby was found covered in sweat and non-responsive.

Paramedics quickly bathed the boy in cold water and sent him to St. Luke's in Meridian.

The mother told police that she dropped off her other children before going to the church, but somehow left the baby in the van.

Police say they're still investigating and prosecutors will consider charges, despite indications that the event may have been accidental.

The outside temperature at the time was about 87 degrees. Police say the inside of the van would have been closer to 120 or 130 degrees.

The boy's condition since reaching the hospital is still unknown.

They did a report on the local news here where a car was left in a parking lot with an outside temperature of 85 degrees. Locked up windows rolled up, the car rose to 140 degrees in less than 15 minutes. After 30 minutes the temperature was almost 180 degrees. Inevitably every year pets and babies are left in these scorching conditions and the parents always act like it's a huge suprise the tragedy happened.

fortunatly this child made it to the hospital, a child in the same situation died last year after his grandfather forgot him in the backseat carseat(the child was quietly sleeping )

I read an article about car temps from Arizona, a woman had gone shopping , then went to another store, when she returned to her car , the microwave popcorn she bought was going off , that's hot !!!

5 of us was visiting my uncle near Yuma AZ in august and if one person in the room moved everybody started sweating...we had to take turns while a couple people sat inside with the A/C and the others tried to find shade near the river and sat in the water, it was so hot the desert bighorn sheep wouldn't run when they came down to drink and saw us...got a couple good pictures of them sitting under a bush right beside where we were.

ok what possesses someone to forget their child??.....i know how many i had but i never forgot where they were or what they were doing....its a mystery.......an to forget one an it dies or almost dies......that is the sad part and how hot was it??? it was hot enough to fry an egg on a rock

I forgot my son once.

I got so wrapped up being with some friends in Corpus that we hadn't seen for a long time I took off with a friend and left Jr, we got down the road and my friend was saying how good it was to see jr and me again and it hit me I had just ran off and left him at my friends house...Dan turns him loose in a room full of vintage guitars so he's really at home and he was in good company, we were going to be right back and called as soon as we realized but thats no excuse, I forgot him.
I felt lower than whale shit for doing that and still do.

no i dont mean that exactly.....i mean leave them in a life threatening situation like in the car asleep in the heat ...my sister left a lighter in the car once by the gearshifter an when she was in the stores it exploded....the car goes from air cooled to one forty in a few minutes......so people that leave also pets in the car even with the window cracked it gets hot like that...but anyway its not the same thing
