Frankie Beverly and Maze

On 9/22 - my B-day....I was at his concert at the Universal Studios Ampitheather in Studio City, CA.

Teena Marie opened up the show and ROCKED THE house.

& Of course, Frankie and MAZE rocked, better than the album. They had the people standing the whole time!!! And did three encores!!!! The ended the concert with a song called "Thank You".

Gee, that was a GREAT concert. The 1st time I ever saw them live. It was awesome. Has anyone on here seen them perform?

yes, I have seen Frankie Beverly & Maze several times.

they always put on a great show, and were an annual New Orleans family tradition.

do not remember if I saw Teena in other concert series after her split w/Rick James, and missed the summer jam of the year when I was 15 when she and Rick James toured together. think Superfreak had just been released. so damn, damn, damn on that one.

but I still have a pristine Irons In The Fire LP that is timeless.
