Did you hear about the guy who saved a subway patron?
Ya new york. Some guy fell on the tracks with a seizure, Some guy with his 2 daughters jumps down and bear hugs the guy while the train passes over them! What a brave hero.

walrusjk,
there was a good video clip of an interview with him yesterday, the mans humble and saying he didn't do anything special but that took a lot of bravery to do what he did, especially in front of his little girls.

walrusjk,
yeah, he is a real deal hero.
but he saved a life and was given only a year of free MTA rides?? WTF?? how about a lifetime of rides for saving a life?
Trump offered 10,000.00 and Disney offered a vacation package to DisneyWorld. not bad for being concerned about a stranger's life.

hellifiknow,
Yes quite a HERO , I read that in his split second to decide what to do after the man fell onto the tracks, he didn't want his two daughters,to see the blood and guts of the man had he gotten hit by the oncoming train , So he risked his life to avoid that scene , remarkable,
Letterman last night, a check from Trump, a free week in Disneyland.

walrusjk,
That was one stop before where I live...
But that sort of thing happens here a lot. The next day, two guys caught a baby that fell off a fire escape. Well, one guy missed and the baby bounced off him and hit the other guy, but they got the kid! The babysitter said she was having a cigarette and missed the kid going out the window... (I'm thinking she doesn't watch that kid again...)
