Murphdogg,
okay now...what you said i dont know if you were answering back that i was wrong or right.....my assessment of you is that you grow on someone and at first i thought you were okay but occasionly i laughed......i occasionaly laugh now but you are funny to a certain point...the funniness comes thru the internet an is still funny....i seen your picture and put that together with your posts and sometimes you are very funny....and if you are funny an it comes thru the internet as funny then you can bet its funny...i have not seen your act but i guess it would be funny....of course seeing someone in person is different than seeing them on tv...i know cause i have been to several shows in person and seen live comics...(as opposed to dead ones i guess
)especially if they include you in the act only to make fun of you or your situation.....which comes to my original statement of i like stand up thats funny....and i dont like stand up thats not funny

Appaloosa, Lol, not I was agreeing with you. funny is funny. I just went off on a tirade about the comics I know who don't get laughs and blame the crowd and that kind of thing. I reserve the right for nothing I say to ever make any sense, and everthing i make up is the gods to honest truth.

Murphdogg,
I like stand up comedy like Richard Pryors...well duh right?..but what I mean is his ability to make fun of himself and the situations he was in, no matter how painful or revealing he opened his heart and let everybody have a look but it was stuff most of us could relate to in a language we understood, no machiavelli bullshit that everybody laughed at so they didn't look stupid...TMIC made you think and learn....and people like Hedburg, Kinison, Wright...people you can relate to and laugh with or at.
I don't like finger pointing loud mouths who are just using the stage to criticize and come off acting like everything they say is right and everything you say makes you an asshole...not you personally...in general, know what I mean vern? ;p...but a person can't learn from that and it closes minds rather than changes them.
and I hate T-Bone and the naked trucker or blue collar wannabe's that say their redneck but live in L.A, besides those jerks make me homesick....Ron Whites cool though.

Appaloosa,
I want to ask what they call that when a comedian says something or has a punch line during the first part of a routine but the same line or subject is relevant and used during other parts of the show in seemingly unrelated subjects...kinda like when Chris???can't remember, the guy on comedy central that talks about watching a kid put a penny in a electrical outlet but when somebody goes to stop the kid he says something like "No no, wait" because he wants to see the kid get shocked but he uses the "no no, wait" line during other parts of the show and it fits with seemingly unrelated subjects...not a good example but I like when a comedian does that and it's a great indicator the audience is paying attention and following along, by itself it aint that funny but as the show goes on it picks up momentum sort of...are you as confused as me yet?
don't hate me Murphdogg, I didn't mean to dis..you know I love ya.
