anybody ACTUALLY believes in ghosts, demonic possessions or spirits

I'm having a hard time buying into the concept, esp. the devil concept. because I'd think one or the other would be doing shit like hiding Cheney's pacemaker parts or something.

and demonic possessions can now be defined medically (tourettes, schizophrenic, epilepsy, etc.)

so who truly believes in either and why?

smjmcomic posted a link and we had a conversation about this back in 11/05, I couldn't figure out how to attach that link...but I was driving home from fishing one night and saw what looked like a man carrying a lantern walking along the sand dunes on padre island, I would have stopped and got out for a better look if the guy riding with me hadn't freaked out so bad, I've never seen anybody that scared in my life...of course I was laughing my ass off but he didn't think it was a damn bit funny.
