what's the worse joke you ever told on stage?
one my worse jokes was I tried to make a Quantum Physics Joke that went something like this "there is a theory that states that any time two outcomes can happen, they actually both do, and alternative universes are created, that means that there is a infinity of universes with a infinity of variable you's in that universe, so tenically speaking, it's possible there is a universe somehwhere where this joke has a punchline"....everyone just looked at me

Murphdogg,
I had a joke bomb really bad once. It was so bad that I never told anybody about it until now, son.

My worse joke onstage? It constantly changes every week.

mojones,

I went to Zimbabwe. I know how white people feel in America now; relaxed! Cause when I heard the police car I knew they weren't coming after me!

bingolong,
You know, I find that even if you tell a poorly thought out concept correctly, it's not *that* bad... it's just when you throw uh's and "and um.." that it becomes incredibly bad.
I've had my share of those moments in my modicum of stage time...

Murphdogg,
Jane-Haze is right. Oftentimes, the problem is in the execution. I actually like your joke! Made me laugh. Maybe if you can shorten the set-up or put more emphasis on the punch. I dunno.
Most of my bad jokes are ad-libs. Like the one last night. Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles are getting married tomorrow. Man, what are the odds? One day the Vatican buries a corpse and the next, Prince Charles is marrying one. The only people laughing were the guys who didn't have a date anyway. Thankfully, though, I had prepared material to save the day.
Actually a lousy joke doesn't have to spell disaster. As long as you have proven jokes to bring you out of it. It can actually work toward your advantage -- endear you to an audience. But you better have something
