bingolong, but my favorite movie was jo jo dancer your life is callin. it had everything drama, tearjerker, comedy it made you think. that the best one ever.

This is such a difficult one to call. TMIC has jokes for all seasons. Right now I'm laughing at a performance where he impersonates a country & western singer and sings a song about killing a tractor. I can't remember the album (I've got it in the vaults), but it's some funny shit!!

Do I have to pick one? Wow that is tough... I like a sketch that appears on The Richard Pryor Show called "The Circus Comes to The Ghetto." It is a wonderfully creative piece about imagination. And, I am also fascinated with his films--his ability as an actor. He really played a variety of roles over time--and he played them well.

Richard Pryor Live in Concert. Red Shirt, Black Pants. That show was flawless. I've met a few people that have seen that show live when he taped it. They talk about it like people talk about gettin' married or loosin' their virginity.

I wish I was there.

Which Way Is Up is one of my favorite RP movies.

favorite skit: his trip to africa -
the lion, talking about, yeah bring that camera too mothafukka, bring all that shit, we gon eat that shit too.

and the cheetah's talking family stuff before taking down a gazelle. and one gazelle doing a side step, which made the cheetah say, pssssh man fuck that...

I still have an original phono LP in pristine condition from the 70's. the same one we used to sneak and play when our parents weren't home. it's on lockdown in an undisclosed location -- you know how family wants to "borrow" stuff and never return it

I'll never see that LP again

Yeah I remembered when I really discovered the genius of Pryor on wax.....I found my dads copy of "That Nigger's Crazy" when visiting my father in Atlanta for the summer....
that shit was in Tennessee by the FALL!!! ;p
